Dear Valued Customers…

Our appreciation of our SMALL BUSINESS grew in leaps and bounds this year. With 22 dealers working togehter to run our store, we felt fairly secure in our well oiled machine. All of that security came to a screeching halt when we shut our doors March 16th for four months. Our planned, “Wedding Promotion” was staged in each room, Spring merchandise was coming in and we were gearing up for our Spring Shop n Stroll sale when the doors were shuttered. All of our planning sat frozen in time in an empty store…for four months. It was eery in the store, masks on, wet wipes for the doors, mail unopened. Quiet, frozen, empty and not much to do without actual customers. When we got the ‘OK’ to reopen, it was with mixed emotions. We jumped into action setting up the sanitation stations, plastic protectors at the checkout and new protocols to stay safe for us and YOU. It was stressful, and a big unknown as to who would even come back. We unlocked the door and hoped. And YOU came. Not only YOU but many new customers who perhaps “found” us online while surfing social media during the shutdown. Could there be a hidden blessing in this pandemic? New vintage loving customers who found our store? Bigger sales than before? New dealers that signed on with us in the middle of a shutdown? New creativity and appreciation for our little oasis in the city? YES to all of the above…YES to our appreciation to ALL of you who came back, who brought the blessing of making our store stronger and better. And YES to our appreciation to all 22 of our delaers who stayed with us, joined us and worked together to make it through. So, thank-you to everyone and especially to YOU our customers for coming back, growing us, keeping us open and stronger than before. We appreciate YOU and during this thanksgiving season, we give you our gratitude.
