Andy Design will be expanding his room outward and Allison of Sanctuary Salvage will be expanding to the adjacent room. Things will look different by the weekend! Wow-it’s been a busy March for the Lofties. Our founding dealer, Barb, retired from the Loft at the end of March. We are sad to see her go, but boy she deserved the break after 40+ years in the business! Her leaving opened up a flurry of room changes. Susan, dealer #11, moved upstairs to Barb’s old room and brought with her a fresh array of quirky, interesting and fine collectables. Susan is a true antique collector with an appreciation for the unusual and the whimsical. Into Susan’s old room flew Madonna, dealer #70. Madonna worked diligently behind a canvas curtain (you may have saw this), fixing holes, painting walls and putting up a beautiful beadboard wall (cudo’s Mike). When the curtain came down, the room was a fresh breath of air for our store. Look for an amazing ( I mean amazing) dresser in her new room, fun mid-century items and interesting art pieces. Lastly, our Allison, dealer III, doubled her selling space with an expansion into dealer 70’s old room. Allison never stops…painting, hauling, refinishing and hunting down fine antiques in all corners of the city. YOU MUST check out her new garden-feel space (probably not a word). Bright, fun, MCM, garden…hmmm…how else can we describe this step into tranquility and inspiration? Just come on over and check out all the changes-that would be best. :)

Our founding dealer at Loft Antiques is retiring after 40+ years in the business.  Barb started her career with a successful company in the Estate Sale business and soon added her own antique store, “Cupboard Collectables” located on 50th/Penn.  She joined the first Loft Antiques location across the street. She eventually took the Loft name, and with three other woman, started The Loft Antiques in our current location, which so many of you enjoy right now.  She has shared her wealth of knowledge and business sense with all of the Loftie dealers over the years. Stop by her room located on the main level up a few stairs, rightfully located in our “Loft “ area. 30% OFF all items in her room (dealer #I).

More exciting changes at the Loft…new dealer Julie Balogh has joined our team as of August 1st! Julie has loved collecting electic and vintage items her entire life. She has traveled all over the United States fine tuning her eye for vintage. She blew into the Loft with a beautiful sense of style and a knack for buying art and mid century treasures. Her goal, in her own words, is to make each customer smile and each day brighter. Check out her space in the lower level, dealer #8.

Exciting changes at the Loft! In the middle of a pandemic, Loft Antiques has added two extremely talented and experienced dealers to our team.

Jane Hall from Mustard Moon and Kay Behling-Potter from Junk Bonanza have set up shop in our lower level as of July 1st.

Jane has lived a life of all things vintage, funky and she said, “dead” (as in taxidermy). Jane sells out of multiple stores in the Twin Cities and has built a wide range of followers. She is incredibly talented with display and has an eye for mixing unique vintage finds with refined artistic pieces. You must check out her space~dealer #99

Kay is also addicted to all things vintage but in her own words she “refuses to get help!”. Her space is filled with refined and artsy pieces with earthly color schemes of orange, rust and other natural elements. Kay is exceptionally talented and comes with many years of selling experience. She is also located in our lower level~dealer #14.

Heads up…coming August 1st~more exciting changes. We are adding a new dealer, Julie Balogh, to our team and mixing up our lower level with two big rooms being redesigned.
